Welcome to Salato Designs! Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out Salato Designs. 

I am Katie the owner and designer of Salato Designs. I graduated with my major in Fashion Design from Hawaii. I lived in Hawaii for ten years. I met and married my husband there and we had our son Logan there. I also started Salato there. 

Salato means Salty in Italian, I am part Italian and I find the ocean inspires and humbles me. I started Salato in Oct 2012 and from there Salato has grown more than I could have every expected. Yet no matter how much it grows every sale I get still feels like the the first one. I am truly so thankful for everyone who loves Salato as much as I do. 

I have made so many friends through creating and running this business and a lot of them I have never met in person or even talked to on the phone yet the connection that we have through Salato is incredible! I love that my work is chosen to be apart of weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, gifts, and especially a gift to yourself. 

I have always wanted a blog so that I could share more and truly connect even more with all of you. Thank you for joining me on this incredible journey, I can't wait to see what the rest of this year brings and how great it will be to have this blog to share with you all.
